Years 5 & 6 Wire & Bead Ornament
Students made textured stoneware clay beads last term and then painted them. They used these along with floral wire, gold beads and bells to create original ornaments.

Year 5 Paper Strip Birds
Students used staplers and paper craft techniques to construct their colourful birds, now flying high in the art room!

Year 3 No-brush 3D Butterfly
Students used sponges only and texture tools to paint their butterfly. Next they cut out the butterfly and mounted it on their food dye wash background for a 3D effect.
Year 1: Fun with Origami
Prep & P/1C Origami Dog Stick Puppet
We first looked at a book called Spot a Dog which shows famous paintings that all contain dogs. Next students folded a dog head and decorated this with crayons. These were then glued onto a stick to create a puppet.

Students loved this challenge...working with a partner what is the tallest free-standing tower you can build using 6 sheets of newspaper, masking tape and string?
