Year 2 Fingerprint Tree Christmas Card

Students used their fingers as a tool to paint prints to make a colourful tree. They cut this out and displayed it on a A4 background sheet, to complete their Christmas card.

Year 4 Sea Creature Prints on an Underwater Background

First students used tissue paper and diluted white glue to make an underwater collage background. Next they cut out sea creatures from print foam and glued these onto cardboard to make a stamp. Lastly they made prints using acrylic paint for a beautiful effect!

Years 5 & 6 Cityscape Monoprint

Students first painted their background in a dye wash. The following week they painted their buildings on the top half of the paper and then folded it to achieve a print. It was a tricky process getting the paint at just the right consistency with the correct amount of water to achieve a print. Students persevered with wonderful results!
